- That Shafston celebrates the cultures from within the diverse student population on campus
- That Shafston School of Hospitality cook special ‘foods' to tie in with the celebration
- That students and teachers learn from each other about the cultural exchange and experiences
- That in the ELICOS sector, specially themed booklets are used as a lead-up to the afternoon celebrations (one afternoon a month from 1.15 - 3.15 pm - once a month).
- That Shafston as a school community unite and celebrate cultural differences together.
