Library

Shafston College has two branch libraries which offer a range of up to date resources, that are particularly suited to the information needs of our students.

The Shafston International College library collection is located at Kangaroo Point overlooking the Brisbane River and provides international students with an ideal environment for study. Students have access to a wide range of text and audio-visual materials to support all aspects of their English language learning.

The Shafston Institute of Technology library collection is located at our city campus in Spring Hill. This collection caters for our higher education and vocational courses. A good range of current relevant material is available, including hardcopy journals and three high quality academic databases (Thomson Gale, OneTrac and Joanna Briggs) which provide electronic access to a wealth of academic journal articles online.

Each library has student access computers which students may use to search the library catalogue or the World Wide web. Printing and photocopying facilities are available in both libraries. Library staff is always on hand and happy to assist students in locating and evaluating the information they need.
