English Prerequisites

For Shafston Institute of Technology

• Successful completion of one year of full time secondary or tertiary study, where the language of instruction was English, or
• IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 200/535 or equivalent on Shafston’s ITAE (Internal Test of Academic English)

For Shafston Nursing

• Successful completion of one year of full time secondary or tertiary study, where the language of instruction was English
• IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 210/549 or equivalent on Shafston’s ITAE (Internal Test of Academic English)

For Shafston's Diploma of Hospitality Management including Certificate III Commercial Cookery

• IELTS 5.0 or equivalent on Shafston’s ITAE (Internal Test of Academic English)

You can prepare and take the IELTS exam or the TOEFL exam at Shafston International College or take our Internal Test of Academic English.
