“I enrolled in Shafston to develop my writing skills and see if I really did want to pursue studies in education. I soon discovered Shafston was the perfect ‘steppingstone’.
I found referencing systems and other parts of formal academic writing challenging but Shafston gave me confidence with those skills. I ended up with an OP 6 equivalent upon completion of my Diploma. I got into my first choice, a double degree at QUT in Science and Education (Primary) and I was one of only 20 accepted.
Shafston gave me the outcomes I wanted and showed me my strengths and the requirements of the education discipline.”
