Café Renoir

Café Renoir, located at the Brisbane campus, provides Shafston students with nutritious, delicious and affordable meals in a comfortable social environment. The Cafe can cater for several hundred students at one time, offering a wide range of hot and cold meals at breakfast and lunch and a variety of snacks, drinks, sandwiches and more throughout the day.

The café provides seating for up to 250 students, indoor and outdoor and caters for students from a variety of nationalities. The food is prepared and cooked by experienced chefs from numerous countries and the buffet offers 8 different hot meals a day. Typical choices include vegetable dishes, curries, roasts, pasta dishes, burgers, fish and chips, sandwiches, sushi, tea/coffee, fruit, hot chips and more!

Other facilities in the Cafe Renoir include a big screen TV, 18 microwave ovens, hot water earn, lounge chairs and a Cafe/Deserts Counter. Professionally trained baristas make the finest coffee accompanied by cakes and desserts...perfect after class for students to sit and chat with their new friends. The Big Screen TV is often used by the Clubs Coordinator and from 330pm to 5pm when the Cafe becomes a 'cinema' for the Shafston Movie Club.

Cafe Renoir is also home to many functions, graduation parties and social gatherings. With over 500 square meters there's enough room for any type of function and students are welcome to use this area anytime during school hours. The outdoor areas, on either side of the cafe are open 24 hours a day and many of the students living on campus take advantage of these areas in the evenings and on weekends. Students often use these areas to have dinner together in large groups, Pizza nights, having a few drinks or even farewell parties to send off their friends. In many ways, Cafe Renoir is the heart of our Brisbane Campus, it's where everyone comes together
