Shafston Mansions

Shafston University Mansions is a purpose built facility which provides high quality student accommodation on-campus at Kangaroo Point. The building is adjacent to the historic grounds of Shafston House and offers convenient accommodation to students completing courses at Shafston.

Convenience is a key word when considering this accommodation. Imagine being about to catch the elevator from your accommodation to level 1, 2 or 3 in the same building and already be at your classroom. No need to sacrifice time and spend unnecessary money on pubic transport getting to school each day.

There are 8 levels of dedicated student accommodation in this 12 storey tower. There are 170 individual studio apartments specially designed to suit the needs and budget of Australian and international students. Students can enjoy single, double or triple room accommodation each with their own bathroom and kitchen. Each apartment is fully furnished and fully equipped for student living.

The safety and security of students living on campus is of great importance to the College. Students are issued with a key card which allows them access to enter the building and also use the lift to get to their floor. Each residential floor features individual security and there are on-site security guards. Anybody who arrives to visit will need to use an intercom service from outside the building to connect to the apartment where the person they want to meet is living. After hours, visitors are not able to enter the building without being let in by a resident.

Each University Mansions apartment includes;

• Bed, wardrobe, study desk and lamp, dining table

• Kitchen, fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, cook top, kettle, toaster, and cooking and dining utensils
• Telephone
• Bed linen and bath towels
• Rooms are professionally cleaned and the bed linen and bath towels changed weekly
• Cable internet connection if requested
